I spent quite a few nights here for work and got to know the property well. The hotel is located on the “back side” of Love Field making it slightly further from the terminal than other options in the area. The hotel provides an airport shuttle which I witnessed running continuously at all hours of the day. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet. The only noise that could be heard on occasion was the lower level atrium since the hotel is an open air concept on the interior. Housekeeping came in every day (if my door sign was down) and did a great job keeping the room clean. My room had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and kitchenette sink. There is also free guest laundry on the 2nd and 8th floors. Breakfast was impressive, specifically the made to order omelet station. This made for a really good start to the day. There is also an evening reception with snacks, drinks, and spirits. The on property restaurant is good and convenient, I recommend the chicken quesadilla. If you’re looking for something else there is a Jimmy John’s and Chick-fil-A in the parking lot. I am overall impressed by this hotel and its staff. I would not be opposed to staying at this property again in the future.

Way overpriced for a mostly empty old hotel

Thankfully we were there for only one night. Should have been warned when booking when the front desk didn't answer the phone except after us continuing to push 0 after hearing a repeating message. Second warning was when we got a phone call ahead of arrival asking me if we were really coming to this (apparently mostly empty) hotel? Strange because we had prepaid. Immediately after checking in we discovered that the room toilet wouldn't drain. Third warning was happy hour only had just a few veggies and some chips along with a bare minimum of drink types and a tip jar. Fourth warning was when the pricy BLT we ordered was delivered as a mostly processed meat club sandwich. Fifth warning came overnight when the A/C decided on it own to apparently completely shut off, heating the room, presumably due to no movement due to us sleeping. That warning came after we had to use pants hanger clips to make the curtain shut out the light. Sixth warning came when we saw yet another tip jar conveniently placed in the breakfast serving line. Since the not so great room costs over $300 a night I didn't think that tip jars were appropriate. Finally, the final warning - the Embassy shuttle driver didn't show up, sick I guess, and the desk worker was clueless. They were able to find a substitute driver and substitute van after the shuttle waiting line grew restless. Hearsay has it that there is only one way to the park trail from the hotel. That's through an unknown door to us inside the hotel. The other comment is that the better located DoubleTree hotel is right across the street from the Love Field entrance. The Embassy is said to be a mile and a half away. The Embassy shuttle, if the driver shows up, can take you to Walmart. There was one good thing despite all of the warnings. The desk guy gave us two free bottles of water.

Awful customer service. They did not pick me from the airport and left me stranded at the Dallas love field airport. They were rude on the phone both times I talked to them that night and then on the phone about my experience of not getting picked from the airport. They will not refund my money. I will never think about staying at a Hilton or embassy suites ever again!

Tiny rooms. Friendly staff. Evening social very rudimentary. Good and very fast breakfast. Practically in Love Field. Considering the closeness to Love, it is very quiet. My GPS had issues, but I did not. High recommendations, especially when taking an early flight.

The proximity to DAL airport was really, really close. So close that you could hear airplanes landing at times. It was not incredibly loud though. Positives: Proximity to airport Comfortable beds Relatively quiet during my stay Cons: Noisy atrium during some business event Internet was lousy (even after talking to front desk and them giving me a code to. connect) Tips: All the rooms face in to the atrium so depending on whether there's an event going on you'll hear a lot of noise from the inside of the hotel. I was assigned a room in the back of the hotel not facing the street and the noise I heard came from inside. There is a Target, Chick-Fil-A and Jimmy Johns all within walking distance (though I'd take a car if you can to Target). Don't bother checking in and choosing a room online. I did and I ended up having to go to. the front desk and them assigning me a room. The front desk didn't really help with amenities or even telling me where the elevators were. I didn't stay for any of the receptions or breakfast. The rooms are clean but really dated. The couches weren't terribly comfortable and all the fixtures were an off-white that reminded me of the 80's. There is a fee for parking but I did not once see any security and the area is not gated.
